PRIVACY POLICY FOR ICP GROUP APPS

1. General information on data protection

Thank you for your interest in our mobile applications (“Apps”). The protection of your personal data is very important to us. In the following, we inform you about how we handle personal information that is collected when you use our apps. Personal data is all information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person.

4. Data collection during download and use

When downloading our apps via an app store (e.g. Google Play or Apple App Store), certain data may be automatically processed by the respective provider – such as user name, e-mail address, payment information or the device ID. This data processing is beyond our control.

When using our apps, certain technical information is automatically collected to enable stable and secure operation. These include, among other things:

  • Time of access
  • IP address (possibly anonymized)
  • Operating system of the terminal device
  • Language settings and version of the app
  • Access status and amount of data transferred
  • Device identifiers such as IMEI, IMSI, MAC address or MSISDN

This information is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR), in particular to ensure the functionality and security of our apps.

5. Use of cookies and similar technologies

Our apps can use cookies or comparable technologies to provide certain functions or to analyze usage. These are small data elements that are stored locally on your device. Some of these cookies are deleted after the app is closed (“session cookies”), others remain stored longer (“persistent cookies”) to, for example, remember settings.

Data processing via cookies can be based on different legal bases depending on the purpose: for the fulfillment of a contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR), if consent has been given (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) or to protect legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

The acceptance of cookies / storage of data and settings can usually be configured via the system settings of your device. However, deactivation may lead to restrictions in use.

6. Making contact

If you contact us or third parties via our apps (e.g. via forms or e-mail), the data you provide will be processed to process your request. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If the request aims at the conclusion of a contract, the processing also takes place in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

As soon as your request has been processed and there are no statutory retention periods, the data will be deleted.

7. Storage period

The storage period of personal data depends on the respective purpose of processing and any statutory retention periods.

  • Data based on consent: until revocation
  • Contract-related data: in accordance with statutory retention obligations
  • Data based on legitimate interests: until successful objection or the elimination of the balance of interests
  • Advertising purposes: until revocation or objection to use

Data is routinely deleted after the processing purpose no longer applies or statutory periods expire.

8. Your data protection rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Information about stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Correction of incorrect or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Deletion under certain conditions (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection to certain processing operations (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Revocation of granted consent (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR)
  • Complaint to a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)

9. Right to object in detail

If your personal data is processed based on legitimate interests, you have the right to object to this processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. In the event of a justified objection, the processing will be stopped unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing.

If we process your data for direct marketing purposes, you can object to its use at any time. In this case, no further processing will take place for advertising purposes.
