A brief introduction to the standard configurations

All products of the ICARUS blue R series are delivered according to the respective hardware specifications (see data sheets). On the software side, however, various preconfigurations are available.
Regardless of which of the standard configurations you choose, you can always change/edit all the settings listed below via the smartphone app:

  • Assign multiple outputs to a key (app) / function key (transmitter)
  • Change the behavior of keys / function keys (as switch / button function, time functions, ...)
  • Prevent simultaneous operation of keys / function keys (interlocking)
  • Deactivating keys / function keys
  • Change key symbols / icons
  • Protection of settings against unauthorized access (password protection)

CONFIGURATION R820 S1

Description:
This configuration is intended for the control of 8 (different) functions.

Compatible products:
R820

A connected smartphone behaves as follows:
Keys 1 - 8 are displayed by default and are assigned to outputs 1 - 8.

A connected TM600 handheld transmitter behaves as follows:
B5 + B6 are used to switch between two function blocks (FB). B1 - B4 control the functions 1 - 4 (when FB 1 is active) and 5 - 8 (when FB 2 is active).


CONFIGURATION R820 S2

Description:
This configuration is intended for the control of 6 (different) functions.

Compatible products:
R820

A connected smartphone behaves as follows:
Keys 1 - 6 are displayed by default and are assigned to outputs 1 - 8. Keys 7 and 8 can be activated manually in the app and assigned to outputs.

A connected TM600 handheld transmitter behaves as follows:
B1 - B4 control functions 1 - 4, B5 and B6 control functions 5 and 6.


CONFIGURATION R420 S3

Description:
This configuration is intended for controlling 4 (different) functions.

Compatible products:
R420

A connected smartphone behaves as follows:
Keys 1 - 4 are displayed by default and assigned to outputs 1 - 4. Keys 5 - 8 can be activated manually in the app and assigned to outputs.

A connected TM600 handheld transmitter behaves as follows:
B1 - B4 control the functions 1 - 4. B5 and B6 remain functionless, unless you activate the keys 5 and 6 in the app and assign outputs to them.


CONFIGURATION TM600 2XR

Description:
This configuration is intended for controlling two receivers with one handheld transmitter. This allows you to control up to 16 functions with one handheld transmitter.

Compatible products:
TM600

When the TM600 handheld transmitter is connected to an R820 receiver with S1 configuration:
Press B5 and B6 to switch/change between the two receivers (R#1 and R#2).
B1 - B4 control functions 1 - 4 of the selected/active receiver, respectively.
Pressing B5 or B6 and one of the B1 - B4 buttons at the same time controls functions 5 - 8 of the selected/active receiver.

When the TM600 handheld transmitter is connected to an R420 receiver with S3 configuration:
Use B5 and B6 to switch/change between the two receivers (R#1 and R#2).
B1 - B4 respectively control functions 1 - 4 of the selected/active receiver.


INDIVIDUAL CONFIGURATIONS

There are numerous other configuration and software options, such as:

  • Linking input signals with functions
  • Optical display of the input signals on the handheld transmitter
  • Deactivate control via app or handheld transmitter
  • Disable the configuration options for the user
  • Brand ID (enable control only with devices purchased from you).
  • Set colors and functions of the (selection) LEDs
